Top 25 Working Holiday Employers in Ontario

Every year taxback.com organises Canadian tax refunds for thousands of working
holiday makers. As a result they can see which employers repeatedly hire these
workers. This list has been compiled from that data, listing the top employers by
province in ascending order – Thank you taxback.com!

In ON, the main cities are Toronto and Ottawa. As there are no ski resorts like
Whistler or Banff here, the majority of the top working holiday maker (WHM)
employers in ON are based in Toronto

Casual, summer/seasonal jobs will be relatively easy to come by as in other cities. Try
all the local Starbucks and other cafes. Bars like Shoeless Joe’s in our list below and
retail outlets like Sears are all regular employers of WHMs. For something a bit
different and outdoorsy, try Mariposa Cruises or Centreville Amusement Park in
Toronto Harbour.

If the city is just a bit too much for some of the more green ngered of you out there,
Ontario’s vineyards are a great place to spend a summer picking grapes and there
are plenty of other getaway resorts like Windermere House and Severn Lodge.
