WARM UP

Capture their Introduce the student the fairy and the animals

As the teacher: Class, meet my new friend. She is a fairy.

prior knowledge As the fairy: Hello Children. How are you today?

Pre-teach new “How does these animals move?” do a TPR activity to teach different action,
vocabulary or including the ones in the story: swim, fly, jump, walk.

As the fairy: It´s a magic flower would you like to know what is inside the
flower? Let see.

PRESENTATION

Do the storytelling with the shape puppets and the background. Use shapes of the characters into
the shape theater.

PRACTICE

Group storytelling Choose 8 volunteers to retell the story each one will choose a characther and
then they roleplay.

Student can acto ut the story, or part of the story on their own.
APPLICATION

Storyboarding Have students write in the speech bubbles the right dialog like a comic book.

ASSESSMENT

Monitor progress Walk around the classroom and give one assistance to students who are
struggling to finish their mini-book.
And collect books
Collect the minibooks when they are finished and give students feedback.

FOLLOW- UP

Homework and Continue working on mini-book about themnsel at home and at the beginnig of
next class the next class, if necessary.

Ask a few students to volunteer to share their mini-book stories by doing a


short storytelling using the pictures in their mini-book to help tell their story.
