Tips sa mga gagraduate pa lang this year:

A. Work
1.What you need:
*Application Letter (try to customize it per school, address it sa may pinakamataas na position na
pag-applyan mo, or if di mo alam kung sino, try mo: TO THE PERSONNEL OFFICER
*Resume (cite your cooperating school sa work experience sa first page ng resume)
* Prepared interview answer (preferably in english) Trick question yung where do you see yourself 3-
5 years from now. Dapat sagot mo may kinalaman sa school na pinag-aapplyan mo. For example: I
see myself growing and developing my knowledge a d skills in your school....
Then kapag tinananong ka kung magpapublic teacher ka, gawa ka ng answer na medyo vague pero
pleasing. Kasi yung iba kapag sinabi mo magpupublic school ka, iisipin nila na stepping stone mo
lang sila (kahit yun naman talaga).
* study for english proficiency test and logic (abstract) for the examination of school
2. Usual Process ng Hiring:Exam, Interview, Demo, Interview.
P.S. Wag kayo umasa sa we will just text you or contact you. Minsan ibig sabihin pala nun "you're
not qualified."
> Demonstration:
1. For demo make sure to follow the routine (prayer, attendance, etc. and prayer at the end of the
lesson)
2. Always put your objectives in the first and last slide of your lesson. Hinahanap po yan ng mga
nag-oobserve.Tinitingnan nila kung na-achieve mo yung objective mo for the day kaya kailangan
balikan yung objective at the end of the lesson.
3. You have to intergrate values into your lesson especially sa mga catholic schools.
4. You have to make sure na seamless ang transition mo between activities
5. Chinecheck din nila yung art of questioning mo and how you synthesize the answer of the
students.
6. Minsan ang students mo mga teacher lang din o kaya students talaga.

*Wag din kayo magsabay magpasa magkaklase sa iisang school. HAHA masama sa pakiramdam
kapag natanggap yung isa tapos ikaw hindi. Minsan may nagtanong samin, isa lang kukunin namin
sino sa inyong dalawa ang tingin nyo dapat namin ihire? Fudgge, mahirap sagutin yan swear.
Tips: as much as possible magwork po kayo agad, mas maganda mag-apply kahit di pa kayo
graduate talaga. Pasa lang ng pasa ng resume. Better yet, download nyo masterlist ng DEPED na
private school then pasahan nyo sila lahat para more chances of winning. Kasi kakatapos nyo pa
lang magpractice teaching kaya gamay nyo pa. Kapag nag - antay pa kayo ng isang taon o
pagkatapos mo makapasa ng LET baka mawala na confidence nyo.
Also, passing the LET doesn't automatically means na may maghihire sayo. Madaming may license
na pero walang work.
Reminders: It's okay to fail. Minsan maiingit ka yung mga kaklase mo hired na ikaw hindi pa. Kaya
madidiscourage ka talaga. Pero hanggang di pa nagJujune pasa pa din kayo ng Resume kung di
kayo palarin magfocus muna kayo sa LET, para mataas rating nyo, mas mataas chance nyo mahire.
Requirements din kasi ipakita yung LET Rating sa mga school. Mas may edge mataas na rating
based on my experience. Plus mas maganda na kung may nagtanong sayo anong rating mo, proud
ka sa isasagot mo.
*Use your extra time to do volunteer tutoring, natutuwa yung mga interviewer kapag sinabi mo
nagvovolunteer tutor ka, it means maganda character mo (sabi nung isang interviewer sakin)
B. LET - as much as possible magLET din po kayo ng September, wag nyo na antayin yung March
kasi mas nakakapressure na yung nga kaklase nyo pasado na lahat tapos ikaw magtatake pa lang.
1. Review Center: Recommended ko ang CBRC dami lumabas sa kanila. Pero bili pa din kayo ng
review books sa iba't ibang review center or magpalitan kayo magkakaklase ng reviewers.
2. General Education: just memorize the question and answer. As many questions as possible sa
limang subject areas. For me, nagwork yung tatakpan ko yung answer, babasahin ko yung question,
then sasagutan ko. Titingnan ko yung answer, Kapag tama edi go to the next question, kapag mali
iintindihin ko kung bakit then move on sa next question. Repeat ko yung reviewer every three days
hanggang mamemorize ko lahat ng question sa reviewer na yun.
Don't bother with your notes, kahit hindi nyo naiintindihan yung tanong basta memorize the
questions and answer okay na. Verbatim na lumalabas yung mga question na galing sa past exam.
3. Prof Ed: Mahirap imemorize yung question and answer dito kasi mahaba madalas, pero try nyo
pa din kasi last time may 15 questions na lumabas verbatim sa namemorize ko. Mahalaga dito
understanding ng mga tanong. Ganun pa din takip ng sagot, basa ng tanong, check your answer if it
is right or wrong then repeat.
4. Majorship: katulad din nung sa gen ed. Pero dito kailangan nyo ng additional information aside sa
nakalagay sa reviewer nyo. Hanap kayo madaming notes then turn your notes into questions. Gawa
kayo sarili nyo question and choices. For me, mas madali ko namemorize ang mga information
kapag ginagawa ko silang exam.
4. Practice shading
5. Yung iba nagrerelax na before a week ng LET pero for me mas lalo akong natetense kaya
nagreview pa din ako. And by some miracle yung last minute na nireview ko, nagsilabasan sa LET.

P.S. Mataas rating ko sa LET, and I used those strategies I mentioned above.
