II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION


A. Rational

Our barangay is located 4 kilometers away from the town proper of


Dinalupihan, Bataan which is known as one of the center of population in the
province. It has 48 barangay’s besides from its nearer to the City of Olongapo
where the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority is located. The increasing population
in the community and nearby area will surely best proof that the demand for pork
will also increase which is now a high time to produce the pork through the
operation of a small scale pig population project to augment the need of the
populace in terms of pork.

B. Description
1. Location
The project will be located at Barangay TucopDinalupihan, Bataan
on the backyard of the owner where pig houses were initially been
constructed a few years back and were used for Hog Fattening project,
but due to the lack of Capital the pens are now vacant and could be
utilized if the Proposed Project will be approved by the LDS Charities.
2. Methodology
After renovation of the duly constructed pens this will be
disinfected twice before the arrival of the stocks which will be bought
from reliable source and be selected properly by a skill Animal
Husbanryman. The stocks should be six months of age, with good
health and free from diseases.
The animal’s will be feed and manage by the group of members at the
age eight months or when the animal reaches 100-120 kg. liveweight
and show signs of estues. They will be allowed to be mated and are
expected to parrow when they reach the age of one year. Piglets will
be cared properly and be raised until market weight of 120kgs.
Marketing will be done by live weight basis to reduce loses.
3. The Product
The enterprise will be engaged in the production of quality finished
Hodge.
III. PROJECT PROPER
A. Goal of the Project
The project is aimed towards increasing the income of the family
through utilization of available resources.
B. Objectives
1. To help increase pork production in the community.
2. To make the project an income generating project.
3. To serve as an employment among family members.
4. To enhance our ability to earn a living through entrepreneurship.
C. Assumptions
1. The project will be finance by the LDS charities.
2. Labor source will come from family members.
3. All supplies will be purchased properly by canvassing and
choosing the lowest price.
4. All terms and conditioning offered by the funding agency will be
strictly implemented.
