Angels in America narra la vida de un grupo de personas marcadas por los oscuros

primeros años del sida que causa estragos en sus vidas. Los hombres viven presos de la

desesperanza, la religión parece no ser ya un refugio, y se dejan llevar por el

desasosiego. Es una historia de amor, fantasía y destrucción física y espiritual.

La homosexualidad: Roy: “[…] homosexual is what I am because I have sex with men.
But really this is wrong. Homosexuals are not men who sleep with other men.
Homosexuals are men who in fifteen years of trying cannot get a puissant
antidiscrimination bill trough City Council. Homosexuals are men who know nobody
and who nobody knows. (1649)
