IN ARMY
Total 30 years very wealthy experience in Indian Army. Retired as a Junior Commissioned Officer.
Served at various states in the country at very difficult situations and climate.
Handled a major movement of constructional materials for value of Rs.160 crores/per year at Jammu Kasmir , Leh and Ladak in climatically critical
and very dangerous condition by Air/Road for three years.

AFTER ARMY

2 years experience in Warehouse/logistics as a ASSISTANT MANAGER in FMCG Operations at Cochin.


Warehouse with 80000 Sqft (including cold room) , 80 manpower , turn around 60 Crores (only sale) per month.
Handling average 2,60,000 cartons (inbound & outbound-approximate 240 & 240 trucks per month ) of branded consumer health care , OTC
& oral health products per month since Dec 2015.

 Liaise with the suppliers or vendors for smooth flow of the essentials without any time delays.
 Coordinate with the line managers of production, CSL, warehouse, logistics & distribution for the smooth flow of the supply chain.
 Planning and replenishing the stocks as per the requirement (plant to depot, depot to depot, depot to distributor).
 Stock Management (FEFO) / Warehouse Administration across the units.
 Developing/sustaining the existing network & effectively managing the Logistics, ensuring timely and cost effective deliverables.
 Managing logistics operations involving coordinating with Production Team, Shipping team, Transport companies and other external agencies to
achieve seamless & cost-effective transport solutions.
 Supervising operations of cross functional units to achieve efficiency in all aspects of the customer service delivery cycle, ensuring timely delivery
of products.

Cost Planning & Management


 Spearheading cost reduction initiatives like consolidating tasks, eliminating non-value-added processes & complete re-engineering of processes
and systems in Logistics.
 Making effective use of cost analysis tools in support of strategic sourcing process, procurement costs, cost reduction metrics and bottom line
performance indicators particularly in cost reduction on fleet management.
 Evaluating and adapting systems / procedures to ensure smooth functioning of stores supply chain and logistics operations.

Material Planning & Management


 Implementing measures like FIFO, FEFO, and ABC Analysis to monitor the inward or outward movement of the materials.
 Managing warehouse operations ensuring optimum inventory levels to achieve maximum cost savings without hampering the delivery process.
