OBJECTIVES & AND INTRODUCTION OF THE REPORT

This project report is based on WAGH BAKRI TEA company based in (place ).The project
report is all about how to set up an Tea product unit and create a distribution channel. This is an
innovative concept for Tea product product in Ahmedabad

The main objectives of the project report are –

1. How to create a distribution channel for Wagh Bakri Teak

2. How to increase sales growth through distribution channel.

3. Increasing the sales at the existing outlets by implementing extensive branding and
promotion.

4. Converting the competitor‘s outlets to start stocking & selling WAGH BAKRI TEA
products.

5. Confronting problems between retailers and distributors.


PROBLEM STATEMENT &LITERATURE

REVIEW

Research work is management parlance is extremely important for a given close view of the
relatives of the real life business issues. For any management student who is striving to perform
outstandingly. Survey report deals specially with providing an opportunity to management students to
have some exposure in real business world. My study topic deals with How to create a Distribution channel
of Top and Town Tea Product Company”.
Wagh Bakri Tea Company was started year 1982, which then was represented by
small company retail shop at Ahmadabad, Gujarat. Since then the growth of the endeavor has been
phenomenal and presently WaghBakri Tea Company has an employee base of professional
managers and skilled personals with ever increasing space for more, to attend to the expanding
group.WaghBakri tea house markets various tea brands in loose leaf cartons and tea bags for tea
lovers all over the globe – the finest certified black teas from Darjeeling tea estates, Assam and
Nilgiri. The company sells organic black and green tea for the health conscious.

We will focus on the following problematic areas of top and town company

• To find out the Franchise strategies and feasibility study of WAGH BAKRI TEA so as to design
strategies for their penetration in the market.

• To study the marketing strategies of the WAGH BAKRI TEA Tea product Company.
• To study the various products and their prices.
• To study the various plans and schemes.
• To study the preference of those factors which are considerable by the Customer.
• To analyze the satisfaction level of the customer.
• To analyze the market share of WAGH BAKRI TEA Tea product Company.
• To show the coverage area of WAGH BAKRI TEA Tea product Company.

Research methodology -

Research methodology is a way is a written game plan for conducting research. Research
methodology has many dimensions. It includes not only the research methods but also considers
the logic behind the methods used in the context of the study and complains why only a particular
method of technique has been used.

Observational Market Study:

The observational market study included personal visits to the local retailers and the Tea product

parlours which were accompanied by WAGH BAKRI TEA‟s sale representative for the initial few days.

For the introduction of WAGH BAKRI TEA retailers will be told about the benefits of the
product and the futuristic potential of Probiotic products.
Retailers will be questioned regarding the consumer response to all the general category Tea
products and especially about WAGH BAKRI TEA.

The interaction with these franchisees as well as the retailers served as a great resource to know about
the present issues of the market. Apart from that the market conditions will be observed through
personal point of view.

The project based on buying behavior of consumers so I am taking descriptive and informative research.
I have done my survey in South Delhi.

c) SELECTION OF SAMPLE:-
It becomes impossible to contact each and every individual of the population due to limitations of
essential resources like time and money. Therefore, the study is preferably allowed down to a
representation sample to make the study more manageable.
Respondents - 100 (Youths of age group 18-25)
The selected sample is representative of the population and is accurate and practicable.
D) SAMPLING PLAN:-
The following factors will be taken into consideration within the scope of sampling plan:
I Sampling Unit: In this study, the sampling unit is youth with in the age group of 18-25 years.
II Sampling Size: The sample size was restricted to 100 respondents.
E) COLLECTION OF DATA:
The data can be collected mainly through primary sources, but it was supplement with secondary
data.
I Primary data collection:
These are several methods for primary data collection like Observation Method, Interview Method,
through schedules, through questionnaires and so on. So I will apply these methods.

Formation of Questionnaire
The questionnaire framed for the purpose of the study consists of a limited number of questions
placed in logical order. So, that the objective of the question is clear to the respondents.
Analysis of Data:
Data, after collection, has to be analyzed in accordance will the outline laid for the time of
developing the research plan.
