OCEAN ACIDIFICATION AND ITS THREAT TO FOOD SECURITY

The United Nations Environment Assembly,

Aware ​that in the era of climate change, the burden of fulfilling sustainable development
goals is elevated,

Emphasizing the participation of the coastal states in the fulfillment of the sustainable
development agenda,

Deeply concerned with the issues of the implementation of Sustainable Development


Goals,
Reiterating ​the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) drafted 25th
September 2015 where it was envisioned to be collaborative and where all stakeholders
participate in implementing the new sustainable development,

Recalling ​the adopted resolutions and decisions on the participation of Member States in
fulfilling the United Nations development agendas,

1. Looks forward t​ o cooperating with all Member States, international and national
governmental organizations, and the civil society in pursuit of sustaining development in
an era challenged with climate change;

2. Urges M​ ember States to work hand-in-hand and provide aid to benefit the nations which
are currently being affected negatively by globalization,

3. Encourages Member States to innovate policy making and implementing in order to


respond to the negative impact of globalization;

4. Congratulates member states in committing to the fulfillment of the Sustainable


Development Goals (SDGs) through collaborative effort;
5. Further invites o​ ther Member States to become proactive in the campaign both nationally
and globally to achieve global development through the strengthening of universal peace
and freedom.
