Bioplastic Using Coconut Meat
CHAPTER 1
INTRODUCTION
This chapter includes the background of the study, the hypotheses, the statement of the
problem, the scope and limitation, the significance of the study and the definition of terms.
Maria Trimarchi (n.d.) they are made 100% cotton and a breathable material which there made
either disposable or reusable and they absorb the sweat. Knowing what sweat pads are the
researcher wants to make a sweat pad that is made with organic bamboo which is economic
friendly, Also the researcher realized that body odor is a really embarrassing problem in different
types of situations, because of this the researcher will create the sweat pads sweat absorbent and
to prevent body odor.
The study wants to determine if using organic bamboo can be a more durable and
environmental friendly for sweat pads.
The significance of this experiment is to give sweat pads that will avoid body odor and
sweat absorbent wherein the consumers would use an environment friendly and use full sweat pads
in certain situations. The study also wants to point out that the awareness of the great opportunity

towards using organic bamboo to sweat pads which can avoid embarrassment in different types of
ocassions.
RESEARCH HYPOTHESIS
Null: The Bamboo scented Sweat pads will not be able to absorb sweat and avoid body odor
Alternative: The Bamboo scented Sweat pads will be able to absorb sweat and avoid body odor
This study will only focus on the Scented bamboo pads if it is feasible in making absorbent,
scented and avoid body odor. The study will not cover different types of sweat pads made the
researcher wants to test how the sweat pads will absorb the sweat and the period of time will the
sweat pads will last. The prototype will be tested to a person sweating. Sweat is the most
important test in this study in order to absorb it and Body odor as well to see if what are the
possible reactions to the prototype. The size of the prototype is 3.75 inches in terms of the width
of the pads and 5 inches long for the length of the pads. The elastic that is going to be used will
be 7.5 inches.

CHAPTER 2
This chapter includes the review of related literature, which supports the framework of our study.

Underarms CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK underarms
The Main purpose of this study is to avoid body odor and sweat sticking to shirts. The
study focuses on developing a product that can benefit the consumers from not embarrassing
themselves to other people due to body odor
In this experiment we are going to use Organic bamboo fabric for it to absorb
the sweat, we also will use charcoal so that it can absorb the body odor or reduce the smell of
body odor.

Bamboo fabric absorbs better than cotton which absorbs the moisture quickly
and it keeps the garments dry, sot and comfortable. Bamboo also has anti-bacterial properties
and antifungal properties that keeps the skin out of bacteria and very helpful for people who
have very sensitive skin (Muhammad,A.,& Muhammad, I., 2010.) This study is important
because it can explain further how bamboo fabric can be useful, and it can explain if the
increase of bamboo fiber will affect its thermal comfort properties. the parameters of air
permeability, thermal resistance, water vapour permeability and thermal conductivity are also
effected by the fibre blends. In the Water Vapour Permeability with a higher water vapour
permeability the bamboo blended fibre can be attributed to a lower its values in thickness.
This helps the research of the researcher because it explains further about the texture of the
bamboo fiber when using it to the sweat pads especially knowing about its thermal
