OBJECTIVE:
To design and study the Non-Inverting Amplifier circuit.

OPERATIONAL AMPLIFIER:
PIN CONFIGURATION:

EQUIPMENT

 Resistors: 1 kΩ and 1.2 kΩ

 Oscilloscope

 2 BNC-Crocodile Clips Probe.

 Power Supply

 LM741 Operational Amplifier

 Function Generator

 Breadboard

PROCEDURE
1. The OP Amplifier is placed on the breadboard such that there is no short.
𝑅2
2. Two resistors are selected such that 1> < 3 and are placed on the breadboard
𝑅1
such that R1 connects with pin 2 of OP Amplifier, and R2 is connected with pin 2 and
pin 6 of OP amplifier.

3. Now for ground connect positive of one power supply with negative of other power supply

with wire. This is how the ground is created. Now connect the ground with the R1 using wire.

4. For input connect the wire from the positive terminal of power supply to the pin 3 of the OP

amplifier.

5. For output connect the negative of the other supply with pin 6 of OP amplifier using wire.

6. Now calibrate the Oscilloscope.

7. Now connect the negative terminals of signal generator and oscilloscope with the ground at

the breadboard using crocodile clips.

8. Connect positive red crocodile clips of oscilloscope with the output at pin 6 of OP amplifier.

9. Provide the voltage that is 10V by power supply.

10. Now note the signals formed on the oscilloscope and calculate the output and input voltages.

11. Using formula calculate the experimental value. And compare it with the theoretical
𝐼𝑛𝑝𝑢𝑡

𝑅2
value from the formula + 1.
𝑅1

CALCULATIONS:
R1 = 1K ohms

R2 = 1.2K ohms

𝑅2
+ 1 = 1.2 + 1 = 2.2
𝑅1

Input Voltge = 4.5x2=0.9

Output Voltage = 4x1.5= 2

𝑂𝑢𝑡𝑝𝑢𝑡 2
𝐼𝑛𝑝𝑢𝑡
= 0.9 = 2.222
