1. Purpose
To install AC duct route in the store 1st floor location WFF18 ; Sports center; Sadara usiness
complex.
2. Scope of Work
Proposal for Installation of the rectangular duct route and linear grill into the storage
WFF18 from the AHU-WC-04; Mechanical room Sports center First Floor.

3. Proposal

Sequence of Activities.
3.1. Ensure all the requirements are fulfilled for obtaining safe work permit which will be used
specifically for the activity mentioned in job description.

3.2. Ensure that all the competent personnel working on the activity are utilizing all the required PPEs
which include the basic PPE requirements of Sadara as well as any additional PPEs as required by
the safe work permit.

3.3. Ensure that the material used during in the aforementioned proposal is as per Sadara standards
and On-Site inspection is performed before commencing the activity.

3.4. Ensure that the Area surrounding the activity is barricaded as per safety standards.

3.5. Ensure that the civil team has cored the block wall for the two rectangular linear slot registers
(150*450mm) both supply and return for the new storage room proposed as depicted in the drawing.

3.6. Ensure that the linear duct is properly seal with the fire sealant and volume damper at the riveted
joint to the main duct from AHU WC-04.

3.7. Ensure that the dimensional inspection of the duct is witnessed for both the supply and return with
reducer joint and clamp joints.

3.8 Ducting joining method will be clamp joint and riveted joint as per the existing joint detail in the
SBC facility.

3.9 Reducer duct joint size 250*300 shall be riveted on the opening made in the main supply duct after
the plenum box as depicted in the drawing. The duct route with volume damper will be connected
through a flexible duct on to the supply slot register / linear grill.

3.10 Return duct shall be connected to the main return duct with flexible duct on the return register as
depicted in the drawing.

3.11 The volume damper is installed in the duct route at position depicted in the drawing on the supply
ducting.

3.12 Ensure that the insulation and soft cladding of the duct length / sealant is inspected before
installation and the duct.

3.13 The scaffolding team shall erect the scaffolding of the height 2.5mt on the adjacent side of the
wall both in the mechanical room and store WFF-18 for installation of the duct route and linear
registers respectively.

3.14 Civil team shall drill the slab top for the installation of the hanging rods for both supply and return
duct routing. The team shall also install the linear register in the store WFF-18 as depicted in the
drawing.

3.15 Proper post activity housekeeping shall be performed as per Sadara requirement and
procedures.
