Caged like a bird, deprived from my freedom to
fly.
To reach the lands horizon is what I desire.
But given a small leeway for me to move, even
a twitch is hard to do.
Yearning to spread my wings like what I used to
do.
Struggling for freedom like a butterfly
wanting to come out from its cocoon.
Too hard, too difficult, so much pain to go
through
Refuses to let go and lose
Two opposing wills trying to win over one
another
Like a sturdy wall facing against the angry,
gusty wind.
Either the wall crumbles to the ground or
withstand the ordeal that life brings.
If I lose, I will still remain prisoner of my past.
I will no longer experience the sweetness of
freedom I longed for.
But if I prevail, I will be able to soar, be myself.
Put on my brightest colors, and be filled with all
the bliss.
Life has to offer.
