Introduction

Global perspective of our research, Dengue, Dengue is a one of a kind

disease that came from mosquitos, now a days its a huge problem not only in
the Philippines but also in other country like tropical and subtropical countries,
based on our research we had seen a data of Reported number of dengue
cases, deaths, and case fatality rates from Cambodia, Democratic Republic,
Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam and Australia from the year 2007 to
2011. The full life cycle of dengue fever virus involves the role of mosquito as a
transmitter Aedes aegypti (or vector) and we as the humans as the main victim
and source of infection. There are some dengue control program that had been
conducted by some countries such as regular fogging and regular cleaning to
prevent dengue and other diseases transmitted by mosquitoes. But still this is
not enough because dengue cases are still increasing.

Second Perspective, As seen in the data Philippines have the highest

number of dengue cases maybe because some places here in our country
have ponds, marshes, swamps and other wetland habitats this are the places
where mosquitos lives and breeds, some of the places here in our country such
as squatters area are the main habitation of the mosquitos because it is where
they lay their eggs there are also polluted water seen in such area there for that
would be a great environment for them to grow and fertilized easily

The problem: The large number of Dengue cases in the country are
proof that Dengue is a problem that should be solve immediately, But still there
is no specific medicine to treat dengue infections yet, Here are some history
data proofing that dengue is a very dangerous, in 1988 the Philippine's had
experience worst year for dengue epidemics nearly 32 000 cases and 500
deaths were reported from Aurora province in southern Luzon, in llo-ilo
province and in western Visayas. While in 2013 there are more than 200,000
dengue fever cases, And In 2015 there were 28,600 cases of dengue, including
86 deaths. Out of this thousands of hundred cases of dengue here in our
country our government had realized that The Dengue virus has been difficult
to control in the Philippines, and the country has been attempting to immunize
its children with the new dengue vaccine Dengvaxia since January 2016, These
were not accepted and the program went ahead with vaccinating 830,000
children. A vaccine aimed at protecting hundreds of thousands of school
children from dengue may have put their lives at risk.

We planned to introduce our product to the Barangay Southside

because according to our study there are dengue cases that had been reported

to this barangay and so the surrounding is very good to be habituated by

mosquitoes.

There are remedies that we can do to protect ourselves from this

mosquitoes such as keeping our surroundings clean and wearing protective
clothing, Reduce the mosquito habitat by removing standing water around the
house, but this is not enough because as we all knew mosquitos is everywhere
and they can easily multiply with dirty environment, But now a days people
don't have time to clean their house nor their surrounding maybe because they
are students or employees who doesn't stay on their houses for long there for
the mosquitos uses it as their breeds or shelters. We don't want our home to be
hideouts of mosquito's right? It's better if we protect our home every time even
if we are not around.
