Death Penalty: Boon or Bane?

Most of the Filipinos, specifically, Filipino women are arguing or fighting to bring back death penalty.
Numerous cases such as murder, robbery, kidnaped for ransom, plunder, scam, and rape cases had
been seen and still experiencing in Philippines.
A large number of Filipinos believe that the only way or things to resolve this kind of problem is to
bring back the death penalty where in, it serves as punishments to those who commit extreme and severe cases
such as killing.
On the other hand, is death penalty is the only way to remedy the killing issue? The rape issue? I don’t
think so. We are not guaranteed that bringing back death penalty can lessen those issues and bring peace to
everyone.
Huge number of Filipinos were giving their own opinion regarding on the death penalty. They say,
death penalty is good so that we can give justice to those who died unpleasant and inhumane. But, did we
reflect on what we are wishing for? Did we reconsidered those people who got jailed and sentenced even
though they’re not the one who commit that sins? Even though they're innocent.
Yes, Death Penalty is somehow acceptable so we can avenge our love ones but death penalty isn’t
really fine and right because this is against to human law and this is against on what is being said in the bible.

Exodus 20:13 -------- Thou shall not Kill.

It is clear in the verse that we shouldn't kill. No matter what are the circumstances. On my perspective,
there is no point on holding our grudges towards to people who have sins to us. Let God broke and destroy
your strongholds. Don't let your emotions holds you and if you let your anger leads and envelope you, you
will turn into worst someone that you hated most. Instead let God do the things that you cannot do.
God is the one who created and give us life so we don’t have the rights (even a little bit) to withdraw
one’s life. No matter how big and what kind of sins he or she made, still, we are not authorize to take away
someone's precious lives.
