The impacts of mobile phone towards children

Mobile phone is a worldwide technology used by most people in this era which mean
children are not excluded from having it. It is important to know the impacts of this technology
towards the young generation nowadays. Based on the audio, the speaker named Kenny had
mentioned that it is beneficial for the children to have a mobile phone because this technology is
prominent to ensure the children’s safety. Parents will feel safer if their children having one so
they can assure their whereabouts and also get easily in touch with them whenever something
urgent or emergency happened. Furthermore, by giving children a mobile phone parents will be
able to inculcate the sense of responsibility within their kids at early age. If children able to
secure their personal things, so they can also manage their responsibility. In contrast, mobile
phone also gives negatives impact like an unwelcoming event likewise put the user in danger.
Besides that, children that depend too much on technology will be lacked of interaction with
people and world. Moreover, this technology cost much money which some people cannot afford
it. We are partially disagreeing with benefit on giving children a mobile phone stated by the
speaker. This is because it gives more bad impact compared to good consequences. At this early
age, they are easily exposed to the violence of media like bullying and pornography which lead
them to the distortion of emotion, manners and mental issues like depression.
