OBJECTIVE

The objective of this exercise is to learn how to use a spreadsheet to enter texts, numbers, and
mathematical equations and to perform simple arithmetic calculations and graphical analysis.

Description
1) Enter the information i.e. Title, Gravity, Table's Headings as shown below (except for the column of a
Force): columns A to C only, as shown in Figure 1.

2) Enter all data into the corresponding cells and format the cells accordingly.

3) Create a column for the Force using the formula F = mg and format the cells accordingly.

4) Plot a line graph for the two springs on the same graph sheet and label the graph with Graph and
Axis's Title, and Legends as shown in Figure 2.

5) Determine the spring constants using a function called SLOPE (y-range, x-range).
