Rvperox M-60 is a solution of MEKP in Dimethyl Phthalate with the

concentration 50% or with active oxygen 8.8 to 9.1%.

APPLICATION : M.E.K.P. is mainly used as room temperature catalyst along with

Cobalt Octoate in unsaturated Polyester resin system. It is an oxidizing material and
must be kept away from reducing materials like cobalt Octoate and similar reducing
materials.

UNSATURATED POLYETSRE RESIN DOSING: Based on the working condition and the
resin suppliers’ recommendation, the required dosages to set right gel time and
hardening time (8-15 minutes) can be recommended as follows

RVPEROX M-60 : 1phr -3.0phr

COBALT ACCELATOR (6% Cobalt): 0.5phr -1.5phr

SAFETY NORMS AND SIGNS:

STORAGE TEMPERATURE: MEKP should be STORE BELOW 25°C. The product should
be store in closed pails having breathing cap to release any gas develop. Keep
the products from direct sunlight or from any direct heat source. Take care that
it should be not be stored with any octoates, amine, alkali or heavy metals.

STORAGE STABILITY : Six months after Delivery if kept under recommended

controlled temperature (below 25°C)
