DESCRIPTION OF CHANGE:

In DR-ID 300CL, depending on the timing, SQL Server login may fail and the following error may occur
when multiple processes are concurrently accessed to a special database called “_recept_image_db”.
The cause of this symptom is highly likely that the AUTO_CLOSE function of such database is turned
ON. Therefore, we are releasing in this ECN a configuration file to turn OFF the AUTO_CLOSE function.

- APPLICABLE TO (Serial Nos. etc.): Facilities where [RE10063] occurs in DR-ID 300CL V5.0 or later due to
recept_image_db connection error.

“_recept_image_db” Connection Error in DR-ID 300CL

1. Purpose
In DR-ID 300CL, depending on the timing, SQL Server login may fail and the following error may occur
when multiple processes are concurrently accessed to a special database called “_recept_image_db”.

[RE10063] An error occurred.


>Restart the system.
+If the same error recurs after restarting the system, contact your service engineer.

The cause of the login failure is highly likely that the AUTO_CLOSE function of such database is turned
ON. Therefore, we are releasing in this ECN a configuration file to turn OFF the AUTO_CLOSE function.

2. Applicable scope
Applicable to facilities where [RE10063] error is occurring in DR-ID 300CL V5.0 or later together with the
following error recorded at the relevant time in "Application" of the event log.

3. Released items
The following items are released with this ECN.
・ AUTO_CLOSE_OFF.bat
・ AUTO_CLOSE_OFF.sql

4. Setting Procedure
1) Start up the PC.
2) The starting screen is displayed amid Console Application startup. Click top-left and then top-right of the
screen within 3 seconds.
3) Service Utility opens. Click the “Exit Service Utility” and go back to the desktop screen.
4) Copy on the desktop screen “AUTO_CLOSE_OFF.bat” and “AUTO_CLOSE_OFF.sql” that are attached
to this ECN.
5) Double-click the copied “AUTO_CLOSE_OFF.bat”.
6) “AUTO_CLOSE_OFF.log” becomes created on the desktop. Open it with note pad and check that it is in
a "blank condition", meaning that nothing is input.
7) Delete “AUTO_CLOSE_OFF.bat” and “AUTO_CLOSE_OFF.sql” that were copied on the desktop, and
"AUTO_CLOSE_OFF.log” that was created in step 6).
5. Others
・ Even after applying this tool, be sure to apply it once more if OS or SQL Server is reinstalled.
However, reapplying is not needed whenever “Reinstalling application” or “Version upgrading”.
