Questions on “High Temperature leg of HWT”

1. What is the max. time allowed for doing blowdown after performing of convective
heating?
2. If blowdown is not performed after completion of convective heating then is it
required to repeat convective heating before blowdown?
3. Submit the list of measurements and their type, range, locations, electrical
interface in r/o convective heating, cold charging line, Film cooling line?

For example:

a. Film cooling line- Pt1 & PT2


b. Cold charging line: PT, TC, etc.
4. SC-2 heating. : Starting instant & Cut off condition?
5. M8,M10 & M12 Nozzle cooling: Starting Instant
6. What happens if FCIV or FCCV or EGV-8 is closed during blowdown. which
sequence (Abort/ Emergency) is to be executed?
7. Is the cooling jacket provided for convective heating circuit? Share the cooling
circuit with measurement details in r/o convective heating circuit, cold charging
circuit, thin film cooling circuit.
8. Deployment of Control System-?
a. MCS- film cooling line (i.e., operation of EGV-8, FCIV and FCCV)
b. MCS-cold charging line (i.e., operation of CCIV)
c. Operation of BPIV during heater bed correction by MCS/ AHS--?
d. Operation of BPIV during convective heating by AHS.
9. Interface details of EGV-8, FCIV, FFCV, BPIV, CCIV, VVV.
10. Interface details of settling chamber-2 heating control system
11. Interface details of sensors used in nozzle cooling system for example: FT, T, etc.
12. Applicable for FCIV, FCCV, BPIV- Is TMR at limit switch level is provided for
sensing of fully open and fully close condition?

TT-2 at outlet is absent- Please clarify?
If first pump fails then execute abort sequence and switch on 2 nd pump
immediately.

Location of PT in film cooling line?
BPIV-TMR at limit switch level is not followed?
FCIV- Permissible leak rate - Bubble tight as per ANSI B16.104/ FCI 70.2. why
not vacuum tight?
Film cooling stopping condition-? Is it based on seat ring temperature feedback or
closure of HSV-4.
