Comoros & Sierra Leone
M Venkaiah Naidu will visit two
African countries- Comoros &
Sierra Leone for five days. It is
the first high-level visit from
India to these countries. He will
hold a bilateral meeting with
Comoros’ President Azali
Assoumani and communicate with
Indian community also during the
visit. During his visit to Sierra
Leone, he will hold a bilateral
meeting with the President of
Sierra Leone, Speaker of Sierra
Leone Parliament and the
country’s foreign minister.
emoluments for Asha
Workers
The Union Cabinet has doubled
emoluments for Asha workers form
Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 2,000 per month.
The government will also open
40,000 wellness centres across the
country in 2019 under the
Ayushman Bharat Scheme.

Tourism Board to organize
City Walk Festival
Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board
will organize City Walk Festival
from 12th October. It will be a
month-long festival that will be
held in 11 cities, and more than
100 city walk will be organized on
different subjects like art, culture,
heritage, food, etc. The 11 cities
include Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain,
Gwalior, Panna, Vidisha,
Khajuraho, Chanderi, Jabalpur,
Burhanpur and Orchha.
