The National Service Training Program (NSTP) is a state-mandated program aimed at enhancing civic

consciousness and defense preparedness in the youth, by developing the ethics of service and
patriotism while undergoing training, specifically designed to enhance the youth’s active contribution
to the general welfare.
The Center for Social Concern (CSC) was established in 1975 as a center for Assumption students seeking
a more meaningful and relevant education. It aims to conceptualize, propose, and implement programs
for the development of the social awareness, commitment and action of the school community. CSC
Program consists of INTEGRATION OF SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE CURRICULUM, CAMPUS
CONSCIENTIZATION, STUDENT ORGANIZATION ASSISTANCE, EXTERNAL LINKAGES, AND RESEARCH
DOCUMENTATION.
