Taro Tea, under Project Mana, is a partnership business affiliated with the farmers
in Sapang Bato, Angeles City. Taro Tea is a healthy beverage that is designed to be an
alternative to the commercially produced teas. Benefits from drinking Taro Tea
includes help in weight loss, it improves digestive and metabolism health, boosts the
immune system with Vitamin E, helps blood, cardiovascular, bones health, fights

The production and process of the said Taro Tea is visualized to raise the sales and

The target area covered will be in Angeles City where the Café will be situated. The
Taro Tea is aimed to spark up and attract the interest of the health conscious individuals
who are willing to try the product due to its taste and many health benefits. Adults and
teenagers, especially the millennials are expected to be intrigued by the product due to
its similarity to the booming Milk Tea and Ice Creams with the Taro flavor.
C. Demand and Supply Analysis
The expected demand for Taro Tea is minimal as it will be the first time that it
will be introduced to the market. However, demands are expected to increase after with
the help of continuous innovation in its marketing strategies and different types of
advertisements. As expected, there will be different competitions in regards to the
product. And some of Taro Tea’s competition are the existing natural tea products
which are already out in the market. However, Taro Tea is less pricey than its
competitors because the ingredients will be taken fresh from the crops of the affiliated
farmers.

Sales are expected to have a steady 15% increase per month.

E. Marketing Program/Strategies
The competitors have kiosks located in malls and are constantly distributing
samples of their product. They also have products that are found in different
supermarkets. In order to introduce the Taro Tea product in the market, Taro Tea will
be given and distributed for free to different chosen people and these people would be
given a form or paper in which they could cite down some of their comments and
suggestions regarding the tea product. Aside from the normal tea bag, the Taro Tea
will be in a form of a tea powder in a small glass container in which it can be easily
made or blended by just adding hot water.
Due to the widespread use of advanced technology, the product will be
continuously advertised with the help of social media applications such as Facebook,
Twitter, and Instagram by posting videos and pictures that would give a preview of the
product. Aside from that, its many health benefits will be posted at Project Mana Cafe.
