WHAT GOD WANTS TO MULTIPLY

“Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, To those who are called, sanctified by God the
Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ: Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.”
Jude 1:1-2 NKJV

MERCY
 Everything we are and everything we have is by the mercy of God.
Example:
King Hezekiah (2 Kings 20)

 We are saved by the mercy of God.

 People in the last days will be lovers of themselves, harboring hatred, judgmental,
criticizing and issue makers. (2 Tim. 3:2)

 Mercy will be rare to find.

 Mercy depends on God. (Rom. 9:15-16)

Example:
Sodom at Gomorra (Genesis 18)

Romans 9:15-16 New International Version

15
For he says to Moses,
“I will have mercy on whom I have mercy,
and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”[a]
16
It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.

 To receive mercy, we must give mercy.

Principle of sowing and reaping.
“Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy.”
Matthew 5:7 NKJV

 Trusting God is also a way to get mercy

“Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; But he who trusts in the LORD, mercy shall surround him.”
Psalms 32:10 NKJV

 God will execute His judgment on the last days. God’s mercy is the only thing that will
save us from His wrath and judgment. Seek to multiply His mercy.

PEACE
““Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.”
John 14:1 NKJV
He means that we are living in a world full of troubles, anxiety, depression and oppression.

 Jesus is the Prince of Peace.

To get peace, we must be at peace with God.

“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,”
Romans 5:1 NKJV

Peace with God means:

 Setting our lives right with God.

1 Peter 3:14 New Living Translation (NLT)

14
But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of
their threats.

 Walking in the light and repentance.

Psalm 34:14 New Living Translation (NLT)

14
Turn away from evil and do good.
Search for peace, and work to maintain it.

 Having a continual relationship with Him.

 Peace with God leads to peace of God.

Peace of God is a peace that goes down in our hearts making us calm even in the midst of the storm.
Peace of God means lingering with the presence of God.

 God wants to multiply peace in you so you will not only survive in the world full of
troubles and anxieties but be effective and fruitful in the Lord. Seek to multiply peace.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your
requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard
your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV

LOVE
 Love is the bond of perfection.
“But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.”
Colossians 3:14 NKJV

 Love is the Highest of all virtues.

“Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;”
I Corinthians 13:4 NKJV

 God is love. All fruits of the spirit flow from love.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,
self-control. Against such there is no law.”
Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV
 Only love can drive out fear.
Example:
Abraham
David

1 John 4:18 New International Version (NIV)

18
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The
one who fears is not made perfect in love.

In last days, the love of many will grow old.

“And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.”
Matthew 24:12 NKJV
Seek to multiply love.

1. For you not to fall away, increase mercy, peace and love day after day.
2. In the last days, people will claim their rights and will do everything they want.
