I. Introduction

Children nowadays are hard to teach. They prefer playing games and face their
gadgets than to study and learn. Now, kids are fonder of learning the game than the
lesson. But the problem is they do not know how to read instructions and they are
just doing what others do in the game.

Most children look forward to learning to read, a process whereby they learn to
transform what are essentially abstract squiggles on a page into meaningful letters,
then sounds, then words, and then entire sentences and paragraphs. Reading
represents a code: specifically, an alphabetic code. A great number of children are
able to break the code after a year of instruction. For at least one in five children,
however, the experience is very different.

For them, reading, which seems to come effortlessly for others, appears to be
beyond their grasp. These children, who understand the spoken word and love to
listen to stories, struggle to decipher the same words when they are written on a
page. They read slowly and haltingly, and words that they read correctly in one
sentence may be misread in a subsequent sentence. Reading aloud may be
particularly painful. Eventually they grow frustrated and disappointed.

In the classroom, reading is king; it is essential for academic success. Teachers,

witnessing the gap between good and poor readers widening, may wonder what
they or these children might be doing wrong. Parents, knowing that reading
problems have consequences all across development including into adult life,
question themselves, feeling alternately guilty and angry.

Some of the parents and teacher says the hardest part for the children to learn is
reading sentences and spell some words. Because the children now in this
generation did not want to study they just want to have some fun through playing
outside or playing their gadgets. This system helps the children learn to read
sentence and spell words fast through mobile applications so that the parents,
teachers, or tutors will not be getting stressed to teach the children. And the children
will also have fun while studying through this mobile application.

As we know, all parents want the children to learn while still enjoying. Also, to
practice reading and spelling words without getting bored. The reason we did this
was we notice that kids are getting bored studying because it lacks attention. We
need to catch children’s attention so that they can focus on their study. And one way
of making them focus is using a mobile application made for children.

So, our team created this study or we are proposing a mobile application that will
help the children to learn more about reading and spelling. This proposed application
introduces "sight words", the most commonly used words in school, library, and
children's books. Kids need to recognize these words by sight in order to achieve
reading fluency. Recognizing sight words is advantageous for beginning readers
because many of these words have unusual spelling, cannot be sounded out using
phonics knowledge, and often cannot be represented using pictures.

Toddlers today are more comfortable with tablets and smartphones than they
are with books, college students are ditching physical campuses to learn from
the mobile apps related to their subjects and elderly professionals.

Learning without boundaries portable has made education sector more

fascinating and intelligent than what it was earlier with notepads and course
reading. Most schools nowadays implement learning through apps.

In general, the current state of technology is shaping how students learn and
convey information even outside classroom. And we are trying the best that
we can to help toddlers through this application most especially to the
toddlers whose expose to gadgets without learning.
