Concert Information
Attention Parents and Students,

On Saturday, October 12 the 8th grade Chamber orchestra will perform in small groups at Simpson
Middle School for GMEA Solo and Ensemble. This is a judged performance and mandatory for all 8th grade
students in chamber orchestra only. This is event is from 9:45 am- 1:00pm and the specific performance times
will vary depending on the group your child Is performing with. Your student’s specific performance time is
listed below. Once your student has performed, they are free to go. Please arrive 20 minutes before your
performance time to tune and warmup.

This is a SATURDAY event and students are responsible for transportation of themselves and their instruments
to and from Simpson Middle School.

Who: 1st period 8th grade orchestra (Chamber Orchestra)

Uniform: Orchestra Polo (Red Polo), Black Pants and Black Shoes – If you are not in Uniform
you will not perform.
