Maximum Gross Vehicle Weights - West Malaysia - Information as on 8th Dec 2017

Gross vehicle weight is the total allowed weight which includes everything on the vehice i-e truck/prime mover, semitrailer, tank/ISO
tank, product payload, driver(s), fuel and any other accessories etc. It is inclusive of all, on the road weight.

Example:
A vehicle as depicted at Sr. 4 has come to plant for filling. Take note of its empty weight (first weight), with driver and all accessories, for
example: 13,000 kg
As total allowed weight for this combination is 37,000 kg, the maximum product weight to be filled is 24,000 kg
Inform concerned person to convert 24,000 kg to cubic meters or liters or other applicable unit of measurement for the product to be
filled and fill accordingly.
Check the GVW after filling and ensure that it is less than 37,000 kg. If exceeded, vehicle must not be allowed to leave the plant. Decant
some product back to storage and ensure that vehicle leaving the plant is compliant to allowed GVW.
