INTERNSHIPS/WORK EXPERIENCE
Summer Intern, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd., Mumbai April’19-May’19
Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. – It is one of India’s leading banking and financial services groups, offering a
wide range of financial services that encompasses every sphere of life.
 Analyzing the creditworthiness of the loan applicants by various company-specific parameters
 Understanding the credit needs of the customer and providing the best product available
 This role had a positive impact on the company as I recommended the idea of “Step-Up Home
Loan.” As, buying a home in Mumbai is not easy for any person who just starts working, so this
product would help any person to pay EMIs according to their salary structure which would keep
increasing as and when the income increases.
 Understanding the entire loan sanctioning process, in particular home loans
 Personal interaction discussions with the clients
 This role also had a great impact on the company as due to my quality of attention to detail I was
able to notice that what the client said during the interaction about the business tenure and revenue
was totally different from what was there in the website. This saved Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.
From providing a loan to such a client which could come out to be a liability as his business was
not even mentioned in his ITR files.
