It is my great pleasure to recommend Mauricio Sebastian Tamayo Vegas

ID#1600523896 who obtained the title of Engineer on Mechatronics at “Universidad
Tecnológica Equinoccial (UTE)”. I was his teacher and had the pleasure of knowing
him since 2011. In this time, we have worked with him on several courses in the area
of electronics and Design Methodology for mechatronic devices. He has always
proved to be a disciplined, respectful person, faithful follower of his student duties,
responsible, proactive and dedicated to research and also excellent personal skills
to establish teamwork.

During his studies, he has always shown himself motivated in the pursuit of
knowledge and willing to propose new ideas for innovative projects, showing special
interest and devotion to bio inspired robotics, mechanical and manufacturing
engineering. Thus in some course project for the engineering degree in
mechatronics he developed a bio-inspired robotic motion system, for which he
analyzed the biomechanics of the movement of real turtles

I have enjoyed getting to know him as a person and find him surprisingly mature,
quite capable of working entirely on him own in a self-directed manner. I am pleased
that Sebastian Tamayo is planning to enroll in graduate school, and I have no doubt
that he has skills, focus and determination to successfully complete a master’s
degrees in a timely fashion.
