I have been interested in NYU since I was in the sixth grade.

When I finally decided I

was going to study music theatre, my dream of going to NYU was heard by everyone who would
give me the time of day. When I was thirteen, I visited New York City, and NYU stole a place in
my heart, permanently. The atmosphere the city provides is incredible. I can't imagine a better
place to study my passion. I applied to NYU, and the Tisch School of the Arts because it is my
dream school. NYU can give me the training that I desire. The reputation the Tisch School of the
Arts has is unmatched. Another big reason I want to attend NYU is because of the amazing study
abroad opportunities. The opportunity to travel the world and learn not only about different
subjects, but about different cultures is such an amazing opportunity. Going to NYU also gives
an individual an abundance of world-wide connections that are so useful. I personally want to
perform for the rest of my life. NYU has given me so many role models to look up to. To me, the
answer feels so obvious. NYU can foster my dreams in ways that I can’t find anywhere else. I
hope that someday I can look back at my life, as an NYU alumni, proud of the education I earned
and the connections I established.
