1.A: This is a beautiful hat. I WANT TO buy it.


B: Please, don't buy it !! We NEED TO save money.

2. A: I love Chinese, and I WANT TO speak it fluently.


B: Then you HAVE TO study very hard. It's a very difficult language.

3. A: Do you WANT TO go dancing to the Riviera Club tonight?


B: I really WANT TO go, but I can't. I HAVE TO/NEED TO work late.

4. A: I HAVE TO work this Saturday, so let's go to the beach now.


B: That sounds great. But we HAVE TO/NEED TO clean the house first.

La preposición TO puede usarse para UNIR DOS VERBOS. El segundo


verbo va siempre en infinitivo y esta modalidad no se altera en ningún
caso

WILL/WONT

 I will buy a car soon.


 I will make him an offer.
 You will stay home today.
 We will fin out.
 Michael won’t be late.
 They won’t be happy.
 You won’t have time.

“will” es un verbo modal auxiliar que se utiliza para construir el futuro simple con un
verbo. El futuro simple es un tiempo verbal para las acciones que sucederán en el futuro.
PAST CONTINUOUS

 The children were playing football during the week.


 It was raining hard during the soccer game
 I was studying English for live years in London
 Mary was always borrowing my books
 I was trying to get a new job

El Pasado Continuo, es un tiempo verbal que describe acciones que estaban siendo
realizadas en un momento del pasado al que se hace referencia y que luego continuaron

SIMPLE PAST

 Sara stayed at home last night.


 I received good news this morning.
 He walked 5km every day to home.
 I worked for many years in a boat.
 I played soccer when I was a child.

 Para los verbos que terminen en -e, solo se añadirá una -d


 Cuando el verbo termina en una vocal corta y una consonante (menos -y o -w) se debe
doblar la consonante.
 Con verbos que terminan en una consonante y una -y, tendremos que cambiar esa -
y por una -i.

EVERY/NO/SOME/ANY

 I have some books


 I haven’t got any books
 I have no books
 I read a book every week
 I haven’t got any sugar

Los pronombres con some y any se usan para describir cantidades indefinidas e
incompletas del mismo modo que los cuantificadores indefinidos some y any cuando se
utilizan solos.
SUPERLATIVES
