LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION

I am writing this reference letter in support of my student, Mr. Shashankh Yalamarthi, who is
applying to the Master’s program at your esteemed University. I have known Shashankh as a
very active and participative student for the past three years. During this period, I taught him
Renewable Energy Engineering in the 4th semester (2nd year) and had ample opportunities to
study his character and assess his abilities.

Shashankh is a sincere and hardworking student with high motivation to excel in his chosen
field of studies. His performance in the subject and projects were exemplary while
demonstrating his keen interest in the field. He excels the scientific processes and has the
ability to see both the finer-detail as well as evaluate the larger picture. His ability to ask the
apt questions depending on the situation and his ability in conducting his own research on
any given topic was found to be out of the box. He not only facilitated enriching discussions
in the class, but he also reflected his potential through his training and research skills.

Shashankh is an all-rounder with a lot of flair for sports and extra-curricular activities. He has
shown his adeptness at organizational skills, especially in a cross-cultural setting. He has
excelled in the field of Cricket representing the University. He is easily approachable and
helps his fellow peers in tight situations.
