From Treatment scheme of Sewage treatment Plant, It is aerobic Based Moving bed bio reactor
(MBBR) Plant.

For commissioning of plant it is require to 25-30 days to develop bacteria culture in full load
condition.

From Load Point of view (Min & Max.), According to Technology Treatment of Sewage will be done
with Blowers by Aeration process and in which Moving Media (Plastic media) is there, on which
Bacteria or bio culture developed.

For First, Approximate 20-25 days require to create culture in Aeration tank. Once full culture
developed with the help of external agent like molasses and cow dung, Plant start to work efficiently
on design load condition. In Aerobic treatment, it is necessary to run blower 24 Hours.

Now, If load decrease, Food require to Bacteria culture will decrease and survival of Bacteria culture
is problematic. And if this condition is continuous then, big micro-organism is started to kill Small
microorganism for survival. If this condition goes for more than 10-12 Days nearly all culture will be
destroyed. At this moment to remove all waste water from aeration tank and re-start to make new
culture from zero.

All time blower must be run and give external air for survival of bacteria culture.

If Plant is design For 80 KLD, and will not operate on full load, for commissioning it will take 45-60
days to work efficiently. Once Plant work on full load and load decrease then the condition will arrive
mentioned above. In All condition continuously skilled labour require to operate and Maintenance of
Plant.

Now in our case:

1) Blowers must be run 24 hours without fail.

2) Skilled Operator required maintaining Bio-mass active. (To recirculate of sludge from
Secondary clarifier tank).
3) At least 25-30 % Incoming load require, for survival of Bacteria culture.
