Dr. Sanjeev Katti (B.Chem.Engg. 1978), Director

in a year that marks 40 years of his graduation from UDCT
UAA Annual Reunion Day made for an extra special memory! Dr. Katti thanked his
parents and teachers and expressed his heartfelt gratitude
The UAA Annual Reunion Day was held on 15th
to Professor M.M. Sharma for his unflinching support and

evening for alumni of the 1968 batch, who inaugurated the
renovated undergraduate chemical engineering laboratory.
The evening began with special celebrations by batches
completing 25+ and 40+ years of their graduation. The
excitement and joy of meeting old friends was evident from
the happy and nostalgic bonhomie amongst the alumni.

In his welcome address, Vice Chancellor, Professor


G.D. Yadav said it was a proud moment for the ICT to be
recognised as one of the top institutes in the country by
Scopus and Web of Science. He urged the alumni to join
hands with the institute and aid in the development of
infrastructure to foster research. The highlight of the evening
was the presentation of Distinguished Alumni Awards (DAA) Dr. Sanjeev Katti receiving the awards from dignitaries
in 3 categories.

all those that have influenced his life positively including his
parents, wife and son.
