Research Design

The study used a descriptive research design to determine the perception of

Senior High School in St. Bernadette College of Valenzuela towards euthanasia.

Respondents of the Study

The respondents of the study were the 100 Senior High School students of St.

Bernadette College of Valenzuela.

Locale of the Study

The study was conducted in St. Bernadette College of Valenzuela during the first

semester of A.Y. 2019-2020.

Sampling Procedure

The researchers choose simple random sampling as a sampling method that is

suitable for quantitative research. Simple random sampling (also referred to as random

sampling) is the purest and most straightforward probability sampling strategy.

In sample random sampling each member of the population has an equal chance to be

chosen as part of the sample. Thus, this sampling method removes bias selection of the

sample in a population.

Research Instrument

The research instrument used in the study was a survey questionnaire which was

composed of two parts. The first part covers the socio-demographic profile of the

respondents and the second part covers the question about the perception of the

respondents towards Euthanasia.


Data Gathering Procedure

The researchers made a survey questionnaires about the perception of senior

high school towards euthanasia. First, the researchers choose 100 respondents in St.

Bernadette College of Valenzuela senior high school department, to answer the

questionnaires. It will be conducted in 7days or 1week until the researchers reach the

quota. After collecting all the data, the researchers will use statistical analysis to tally the

information that we gather.
