About us

 Kurukshetra University is located in the northern state of Haryana


(India). It is a government university spread over 400 acres of land.
 University is well connected by rail and road. The nearby airports are
Delhi (160 kms) and Chandigarh (100 kms).
 Kurukshetra university offers perfect academic ambience for learning
and research in its peaceful settings.
 University is accredited A+ by national accreditation agency NAAC and
is graded as category I by the nodal ministry of HRD.

 Department of Sanskrit, Pali & Prakrit offers courses on Vedic Studies
and Indian Philosophy.
 Institute of Sanskrit and Indological Studies publishes annual Praci-Jyoti
Digest of Indological studies since ….; having world wide circulation
 University has around 20,000 manuscripts that are being digitized for the
researchers
 Diploma and Certificate Programs offered on BhagvadGita
 University has been organizing Seminar on BhagwadGita since long that
has grown into an International seminar since 2016 to promote research
on the subject. The seminar has been receiving around 1000 direct
participants (foreign and domestic) and large number of other attendees.

 Dharohar’ Haryana museum of culture of Haryana came up in
