As Mechanical Engineer with experience in, Utility maintenance & Operation.
Period: December 2017 To December 2018
After that 6 months as a contract basis.

• Overall operation and maintenance of utilities such as Boiler (FBC coal fired & Gas fired), Cooling
towers, Compressed air system, Ash Handling, Coal handling plant, RO-DM plant.

• Prepare a Daily Report of Utility. It consist of Generation of steam, Quantity of Coal, DM-RO feed
water to boiler, Venting losses, Jack well, process water, Water losses, Cooling tower water analysis
report.

• Effective planning and execution of preventive maintenance & predictive maintenance of plant
machinery including entire site.

• Receive field complaint, troubleshooting of equipment & co-ordination with process section for
taking equipment change over as per schedule.

• Tracking and maintaining inventory levels. Planning, procurement and follow up of spares.

• Maintain and update the equipment history card for preventive & break down maintenance.
• Planning and Implementation of the preventive maintenance schedule.

• Responsible for administration control of the maintenance section & good housekeeping.
• Responsible for participation in the departmental monthly, annual maintenance budget and its
optimum utilization.

• Maintain and update all the records related to ISO 9000, 14000 and OSHAS 18001.

• Planning and allocation of the manpower for day to day activities and shut down work.

• Responsible for supervising subcontractors, suppliers and vendors who are working on the site.

• Maintain machine history cards, daily log sheets, SOP’s, preventive maintenance records,
department statutory requirements etc.

• Identification and implementation of energy conservations projects, Lean Six sigma project, TPM,
5S Activities.

• Maintain procedure & vendor specification to assure regulatory compliance with necessary
requirements.

• Coordinate for jobs activities with supplier, contractor to assure on time project completion.

• Active participation with initiatives to improve operation efficiencies for cost savings.

• Coordinate critical activities with supplier, contractor to assure on time project job execution.

Computer Exposure:
