Pakistan Railways (PR) is a Federal Govt. Organization, PR forms the life line of the country by catering
to its needs for large scale movement of freight as well as passenger traffic. It not only contributes to
its economic growth but also promotes national integration.
Pakistan Railways invites sealed bids from registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of
Pakistan (SECP) / registrar of the firms, reputed software houses having at least 05 years (after
registration) experience of relevant business.

Performance Testing / Quality assurance of Software
Company must also be registered with income tax, sales tax department and Pakistan Software Export
Board (PSEB). PPRA Rules 2004 (Including all notifications to date) Single Stage –Two Envelope bidding
procedure will be followed. Bidder must attach (Rs. 10,000/-) bid security (CDR) with their bids. Bid
documents are available from below address after deposit bank draft of Rs. 500/- in favor of “Pakistan
Railways” by or before closing of below date and time.
The Bids prepared in accordance with the instruction in the bidding document, must reach at below
address on or before 03thFebruary 2017 at 10:00 AM. Bids will be opened on same day at 10:30 AM at
conference room of Directorate of I.T, Pakistan Railways Headquarters Office, Empress road, Lahore.
