GROUP ASSIGNMENT 1
SUBMISSION DATE: 5 OCTOBER 2019
Instructions:
1. Students will work in groups of five (5) in creating two (2) video presentation (10% for
each video).
2. The topic that students present should relate to the topics covered in Chapter 1.
3. In the beginning of your video, you should include your lecturer’s name, group photo
along with tag of your group member’s names and matric numbers, group name and
your chosen topics.
4. How to start?
a. Define a clear purpose and outcomes for the video.
b. Establish team and assign project roles and responsibilities.
c. Search the related materials online that match your goals and expectations.
d. The duration for each video should be between 3-4 minutes (Maximum 4 minutes).
5. For Part A: You can develop your video using any types of tools. Below are some
suggested learning tools that you may use: Camera video, GO!Animate, Present.ME,
JING, FlipSnacks, PowToon, Screen-O-Matic, Videoscribe, Bitable or any suitable tools
6. For Part B: You must ensure that each member appears in the video.
7. Once your video is ready, team leader is responsible to upload the video in YouTube
channel hence submit the YouTube link via portal (online learning).

Based on your chosen topic, the following three (3) important information should be included
in the video.
The background should briefly place the topic in a broad context and highlight why it is
important. The current state of the topic should be reviewed carefully. Please highlight
controversial and diverging issue when necessary.
Let say you decide to talk about air pollution. You have to describe “what is pollution,
type of pollution, the impact of pollution to the environment and human, etc.”
2. Problem
Define the problem of the chosen topic and its significance. Next, briefly mention and
highlight the main aim of the work.
In this section, you may describe about Klang Valley air pollution problem, the
previous record of their haze level, crucial issue that happen to the community, impact
to the economy, health (in specific), or etc.
Explain on how to collect the information from the sample of respondents in order to
solve the aforementioned problem (primary or secondary data). Identify your sample
and population of study and describe your data collection techniques that suitable such
as survey, interview, mail, e-mail, or etc.
1. Based on the topic that you have chosen in PART A, develop a second video. The
video should be in forum style where each member must be involved.
2. Every member should relate the chosen topic to the Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0)
a. What is IR 4.0?
b. How is IR 4.0 important nowadays?
c. How does the development (e.g. current and future) in the chosen topic keep up
with the revolution?
d. How statistics can make the revolution a success.
3. All team members are free to provide their own ideas in the forum.
4. Try your own way to make your forum session more interesting.
5. All team members MUST participate in the forum discussion.
