ACTIVITY DESIGN FOR SCHOOL LEVEL


“PEACE CONSCIOUSNESS MONTH: ZUMBA DANCE”

I. Rationale:

The Department of Education Order No. 220, s. 2017, dated April 20, 2004,
declared that September as the Peace Consciousness’ Month. It is an annual celebration
of all elementary and secondary schools, and are obliged to culminate.

In support to this celebration, all Deped officials, employees, teachers, students


and pupils of both public and private schools nationwide are addressed to partake and
cooperate for the preferred activity, the zumba dance, for the culmination.

Therefore, all concerned personnel are expected to peacefully participate, so that,


this activity will be realized.

II. Objectives:

The celebration aims:

 to instill a greater understanding and to build initiatives prior to peace


consciousness month
 to motivate everyone to participate to the said activity: ZUMBA Dance
III. Date/Venue/Duration/Participants:
Date: September 27, 2019
Duration: One (1) day
Venue: Liberty NHS Covered Court and Field
Participants: Teaching Personnel of Liberty NHS
PEACE Officers
Students of Liberty NHS
IV. Budgetary Requirements:
i. NONE
V. Expected Output:
1. Liberty NHS 100% of the overall population has participated to the zumba party.
2. Has inculcated in their minds the purpose and importance of having such ‘Peace
Consciousness Month’ culmination.
