To,
Respected Sir/Madam,
Duration: 1 YEAR
I had applied for a study permit for Canada on 02-07-2019 for the course of INTERNATIONAL
BUSINESS MANAGEMENT at NIAGARA COLLEGE and got the visa rejection on 23-07-2019. The study
permit was rejected for the following reasons
I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection
216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
I would like to take this opportunity to explain the purpose of my visit and appreciate your time to
access it.
JUSTIFICATION:
I have been admitted to the prestigious Niagara College for International Business Management
program. I did my graduation in BBA (July-2009-Nov-2012).After that I have completed my Post
Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) as Finance major from July 2013 to July 2015. Right after
my graduation, I have been working in the financial services industry, without break.
Over four year of learning curve, I realised that to advance my career further, I must gain skills in
International Business that will open doors to more challenging and high visibility roles in various
Multi-National companies. By studying international business, I will learn about world cultures and
societies, and be challenged to approach issues from different perspectives. These skills are
increasingly valuable to employers faced with the challenge of opening and integrating multiple
markets and achieving cohesion and cooperation in increasingly diverse workforces.
My sole purpose of visiting Canada is to upgrade my education so that I can better exposure in
North American Countries. I wish to learn the International aspect of Business and Trade and this
program offers subjects specializing in Trade Finance and Market Strategies. Such course work will
help expand my knowledge & gain insight in this field. Studying among students and professors from
across the globe with diverse experiences is another direct advantage towards gaining the cultural
understanding which is very critical for this type of course. Furthermore, courses such as
PRAC9304P (Internships Program) provides the practical experience which is usually far better
learning experience than being and studying in India.
A Certificate in International Business can help me to prepare to work overseas as well as in India.
There is more than one reasons why I strive to go back home. Upon completion of my program in
Canada, I will return to my country and would explore next level roles. I have my whole family in
India (my parents, brother and in-laws) as parents growing older, I must take care of them.
Additionally, my husband is currently in USA, I look after my in-laws as well. My parents live in Delhi
and In-laws lives in Rohtak (2 hr drive west of Delhi).
Those multinational companies that locate operations in foreign countries can choose people like
me to manage their financial operations globally if I have the knowledge of management of
International Business.
As my Husband is currently in US working with General Motors as an Engineer, he has applied for my
Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services
(USCIS) on 31st May 2019. Once USCIS send out the invitation to apply for green card via US Embassy
in Delhi, I will have to go for an interview at the embassy as well. Also, this education and
international exposure will help me in working with international organisations in the future when I
decide to go live with my husband.
To further underline my purpose of visiting Canada, I’m hereby attaching the following documents ;
I would really appreciate if you consider my application and permit me to study the program of
INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT at NIAGARA COLLEGE. I see myself growing faster than I
could with this specific course.
Thanking You,
DEEPTI DESWAL
