Summary

The study is attempt to analyze the case of a small businesses who own by Mercedes Niengo

Embalsado ,she has a stale at public market and she sell different product and goods like a

vegetables and different groceries in other word her business is sari-sari store.

Further , we have discussed the strength, weaknesses , opportunities and threat to sari-sari store

in the small businesses industry. We have deal with different problems like the customers issue

the market issues and Competitor. This would help in better understanding of a small businesses

present condition and future sustainability in the modern and fast changing business world.

We have discussed the strategic way of selling their product and techniques how to gain more

profit.

Issues and Concern

Since her business is in a market there are many competitor on her business and they offering a

product that the same to Ms. Embalsado offered on her business, because competition can force

you to lower price to stay competitive and competition can decreased market share and shrink your

customer base.

Point of View

During our interview as we observe the business of Ms. Embalsado is going well and a profitable

just imagine her income is average 2500 a day and during weekend she income 5000 a day and

this income that’s not bad for own a small business .

Statement of the problem

The main problem of Ms. Embalsado is competition because competition can force you to lower

your price to stay competitive and create more customers one negative effect of competition can

decrease your return on each tem you produce and sell and shrink your customer base, which is

bad for her business.

 Getting and staying profitable maintaining profitability means making sure that income

stays ahead of the cost of doing business.

 Employee attraction and retention maintaining a productive and positive employee

environment improves retention.

Make other product that others competitors don’t have and make your stale unique and different

from other. Aside from lower your price you need to create good arrangement to your product that

customer satisfy to buy goods to your store.

One thing that problem of Mrs. Embalsado is Competition the plan that he does is always

value your customer if you delight your customer with great service you will make loyal

customers who will refer your business to their family and friend. Always have a good

understanding to your products or services. Ensure that they remain patient and provide

satisfying answers to customer query.
