ACTIVITY #6

I. Objectives

In this activity, you will:

1. observe life forms other than those you studied from Grade 3 through 6,
2. use a magnifying lens to observe them,
3. share what you know about these life forms with classmates and
groupmates, and
4. compare them with known living things studied in Grade 3 to 6.

-It is Mushroom
Q3. What is the reason for your answer in Q1?
-They have “stems”and “crown”like miniature trees.

-No,it is not a plant

-The name is seagrape

-because its green
Q7. How are they different?
- Sea weed lives on water, mushroom lives in land
Q8. How are they alike?
- seaweed and mushroom are both decomposers
Q9. Do you know of other living things like the two above? If so describe this living
things.
-All the other plants found on earth are living things that are like mushrooms and
seaweed since the only thing that connects the two together is the fact that they
are both members of the plant kingdom.
Q10. How did you know about them?
- Sea grapes and mushroom are alike in the sense that they are both
incomplete plants. ... they are different in a sense that mushrooms as
fungis tend to rely on other organisms like the dead log for its food but
the seaweeds are algaes, so they make their own food through sunlight.
