Flow of Research Progress

The study focuses on the following conceptual framework which is

highlighted by the three part processes.

Input – The necessary data for the analysis of the efficiency and effectivity of the

flood barrier are: the height of the flood, the size and frequency of the

flood, and the speed of the flood. These variables will help determine

the conclusion of the study.

Process – The research process involves the creation of scaled models and

applying simulation of different flood scenarios on the model, to

determine its capacity, efficiency and effectivity as means of flood

control

Output – At the end of the experiment conducted, it is expected to attain and

conclude the effectivity of the flood barrier.
