Common problems and solutions of Laser

Marking system - Fault 1-3

The laser marking machine will have some problems occasionally. If the problems cannot be
solved in time, it will affect the delivery schedule. Although the maintenance of laser marking
machine is of much trouble, the principle is quite simple and some problems can be solved by
ourselves. Here we show some common problems of laser marking machine and the methods to
resolve these problems.

Fault 1: The laser intensity decreases and the marking are not clear.

Solution:
Check if there is any change with the laser resonator; slightly adjust the lens of laser resonator to
make the light spot output much better;
The acousto-optic crystal shifts or the acousto-optic power supply is relatively too low; adjust the
position of acousto-optic crystal or increase the acousto-optic power working current; enter the
laser deviation center: adjust the laser;
If the current is adjusted to around 20A, the sensitive is still not strong enough: the aging krypton
lamp needs to be changed.

Fault 2: the krypton lamp cannot be activated.

Solution:
Check all the power supply cables
The high-pressure krypton lamp is aging and needs to be changed.

Fault 3: when online, it has one long and three short alarms.

The reasons and methods for troubleshooting are as followed:

1. When the software is not working and the main board is loose, restart the computer and plug in
again.
2. When the Q drive alarm light is on, check whether the 37- pole and 15-pole are loose or the Q
switch has normal water flow.
3. When the power supply alarm light is on, check whether the cooling machine is open and the
tube is damaged (If damaged, the tube needs be changed).
