Troop Leaders Investiture Ceremony

Presiding Officer: One of the big moments in our Girls Scout’s life will be our
Investiture. This happens after you have satisfactorily
completed the membership requirements. In this
ceremony, you will become a full-pledge Troop Leaders.
A member of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines and the
World Association of Girl Guide and Girl Scouts. In this
ceremony, you will solemnly dedicated yourself to the
Girl Scout Promise and Law.

TROOP LEADER: Recite the Gils Scout Promise and Low.

PRESIDING LEADER: Madam, these are the following candidates for

membership.

TROOP LEADER: I, __________________ of Troop No. _____ who have

successfully passed our membership requirements and now
wished to be invested as a troop leader.

INVESTING OFFICER: Do you know that your honor means? Can I trust you
on your honor to try to do your duty to God and
your country, help other people at all times and obey
the Girls Scout Laws.

TROOP LEADER: YES I DO

INVESTING OFFICER: (PINNING OF THE INVESTITURE PIN ON THE LEFT

COLLAR OF EACH TROOP LEADER)

SAYING: I TRUST, YOU KEEP PROMISE YOU HAVE JUST MADE.

EMCEE: CONGRATULATIONS! You are now a full-pledged troop leader

and a member of the worldwide Girls Scout and Girls Guide
Movement.
 INVESTITURE OF KIDSCOUT

TL Navidad : Naririto tayo upang isapi kayo sa kilusang Scouting. Mga

bata, kayo ay magiging Kid Scout. Ang Kid Scout ay
laging masaya, gumagawa ng mabuti, at nagpapasaya sa
iba. An gating investing officer ay makikinig sa inyo.

Madam Bucario : Kid Scout, bigkasin ang pangako ng Kid Scout.

TL Navidad : Inaasahan naming na lubos ninyong nauunawaan at

 INVESTITURE OF BOYSCOUT

Emcee : May I call Troop Leader Ryan C. Quemada, for the presentation
of the candidates for investiture.

TL QUEMADA: (command attention) fellow scouts and

scouters, here are the 42 candidates for
investiture.
(TO THE BOYS) Boys, you have presented
yourself before this troop and asked to be
made scouts. Is this your wish now?

BOYS SCOUT: Yes, Sir!

TL QUEMADA: In this ceremony, you will be received into this troop

and into the scouting brotherhood. Before you lighted
candle that represents the spirit of scouting. THE LAW
OF THE TROOP IS THE LAW SCOUT. It is known and
followed by millions of scouts, by being here; you will
learn and follow this law, too.

The 12 points of scouting ( boy scout will recite the laws one by one
before lighting the candle)

TL QUEMADA: Madam it is an honor to present to you the

candidates for boys scout who successfully complied the
requirements.

Investing Officer : ( Madam Bucario )

You have heard the twelve points of the scout law. Do

you accept this law as a scout and do you promise to do
your best and live by this law?

Boy Scouts : Yes, Madam.

Investing Officers : Recite the Boy Scout Law and Promise

TL Quemada : The recitation of the scout oath and law to be led

by .

Investing Officer : from now on the Boys Scout Promise and Law will be
your guide in your daily life.

TL Quemada: At this juncture, may I request the parents to help us

initiate our young boy to this noble cause through the
ceremonial clothing of neckerchief to the boys.

 INVESTITURE OF TWINKLERS

Sunshine Star (TL Salac): Little girls you can be twinklers. Twinklers are
little scouts. They are always happy, they do
good deeds, they make others happy. Guiding
Star ( Madam Bucario ) will listen to you.

Make your twinkle promise

Twinklers : I love God, My Country & People around Me.

Guiding Star ( Madam Bucario ):

Welcome! You are now a member of twinkle.

Sunshine Star (TL Salac): May I request the parents, to put twinkler’s
cap to their daughter.

Guiding Star ( Madam Bucario ):

Now that you have made your promise, be sure to

follow it every day.

North Star ( TL Meguiso):
Morning Stars :
The Star clusters, enter hop, skip and Sing
their rhyming songs.
North Star, we have found a little twinklers;
in the starry circle who wants to join our
stars?

Star Scouts : Morning Star we want to join.

North Star ( TL Meguiso): Star scout come forward.

Tell me, why do you want to become a star?

Star Scouts: We want to bring light.

i want to be truthful
I want to be obedient
I want to be helpful

North Star ( TL Meguiso):
Star are little children who brighten their
homes with smiles and good deeds. Each star
has to make happy every day, her mother or
father, brother or sisters. She has to keep
herself brightly shining being clean, cheerful,
and obedient. Do you want to become such a
star in your home?

Star Scout : Yes, North Star, we do.

North Star ( TL Meguiso): Very well Star Scout, you have come to the
right place. But before you join the clusters,
you have to make a promise. Will you say
your promise and laws?
Star Scout: The Star Scout Promise

North Star ( TL Meguiso): May i request our investing officer Madam

Margie G. Bucario to lead the pledge of star
scout.

Investing Officers : I, Troop No. 477 who have

successfully completed our requirements and now,
wish to be invested as Star Scouts.

North Star ( TL Meguiso): We will have now the pinning of the star
pins by the investing officers with troop
leaders.

Morning Star: Welcome to the Star Troop No.477 of the

Cotabato City Council of Girl Scout of the
Philippines.

North Star ( TL Meguiso): Now you are a member of the Star Troop.
But before your clusters will accept you, your
parents or guardians will put on your Star
Scout Cap.
