Arithmetic Sequence
An arithmetic sequence is a list of numbers with a definite pattern. If you take any number in the
sequence then subtract it by the previous one, and the result is always the same or constant then it is an
arithmetic sequence.

Geometric Sequence
A geometric sequence is a sequence of numbers in which the ratio between consecutive terms is
constant. We can write a formula for the n th term of a geometric sequence in the form:
a n = a r n , where r is the common ratio between successive terms.
Fibonacci Sequence
The Fibonacci sequence is a sequence of numbers in which each successive number in the sequence is
obtained by adding the two previous numbers in the sequence. The sequence starts with zero and one, and
proceeds forth as 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55 and so on.
