It is imperative for schools to have the latest and high quality science laboratories in this

day and age. Keeping in mind the importance of the laboratory facility in secondary

schools the researcher decided to find out the effect of lack of such facility. The topic of

the study was Effects of Lack of Laboratory Facilities on Science Students at Secondary

Schools. The important objectives of the study were to trace out availability and benefit

of laboratory facility in secondary schools of Chak Jhumra. “Survey Study” method was

used which involves both Qualitative and Quantitative research. The population of

research study was the Government Secondary Schools of Chak Jhumra. The data was

collected the data from five boys and five girls government schools present in Chak

Jhumra. Close-ended questionnaire were used for the collection of data. The data was

collected by doing survey in certain secondary schools of Chak Jhumra by providing

them close-ended Questionnaire. The study found that science practical work is

inquisitively and locks in understudies in learning through activity and hands on

association, in this way giving motivation and inspiration in study of science. The study

recommends that secondary schools ought to be given with standard research facility

and required equipment.
