1. Construct a series of ‘flash’ cards for the main type of ecosystem in the national
park you have been researching. Each card must contain one of the following headings
and some information relating to it.
a. Elevation
b. Average Rainfall
c. 2 common animal species (put each on a separate card and include a
picture)
d. 1 endangered animal or plant species
e. 2 common plant species (again each on a separate card and including a
picture)
f. Soil type
g. A small map of the state showing locations of this ecosystem

Each card should be 5cm X 7cm.

An example for an arid ecosystem is below to show you what to do.

50 – 200m above sea level

Make cards for each feature from a – g. These will be used next week.
