We would like to inform you that the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, through

the Committee on Housing, Land Use and Relocation (Lead Committee) and
the Committee on Public Works and Utilities will conduct a Joint Committee
Hearing on Monday, September 23, 2019; 9:00 in the morning at the 3rd
Basement, SP Conference Room of the Speaker Pro Tempore Francisco I.
Ortega Provincial Legislative Building and Session Hall, Provincial Capitol, City of
San Fernando La Union. In relation, hereto, to the Privilege Speech of Hon. Maria
Annabelle S. de Guzman during the 11th Regular Session of the 22nd
Sangguniang Panlalawigan on September 10, 2019 that tackles about the
compensation of owners of private lands being traversed by the widening of the
roads or the R.A. 10752 and Section 118, 119 and 121 of R.A. 11231, as
amended.

On behalf of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, may we respectfully invite

you and/or your office’s representative as Member of the Provincial Land Use
Committee to be present during the said Joint Committee Hearing to share
his/her comments and suggestions as well as to answer queries of the Honorable
Members of the Joint Committees relative to the role of the Provincial Land Use
Committee.
