`The Carmichael Coal Mine

The Adani Carmichael coal mine located at the north of the galilee basin in central
Queensland Australia. Mining is planned to be conducted by both open cut and underground
methods.

I am discussing the veiw points of Environmentlist on behalf of Adani carmichael coal mine.

Environmentalist: Environmentalist is a person who takes care about how reducing and
control the Environment pollution. They also take care about protect the human health,
environment and natural habitats.

I. Environmental activists argue that the Adani project will damage the waters of the
Great Artesian Basin and groundwater in rivers and springs, which will cause a
shortage of water for farmers and communities.
II. The groundwater level model predicts water fall typically between 20 and 50 meters
to 4 meters around vicinity of the Carmichael river.
III. The mining procedure and transportation of the coal delivered 200 million tons of
carbon dioxide gases will lead to increases greenhouse gas emission.
IV. The burning of coal in mines can produce an additional 705 million tons of carbon
dioxide per year. This amount will increase pollution overall in Australia.
V. Plantation of more and more trees helps to protect the atmosphere and control Co2
level in the environment.
VI. Recycling of waste water and material should be control the environmental problem.
